Speed Dating – Expanding your Collaborators

In collaboration with the ADG, AWG, WIFT and Screen Vixens, Screen ABC is delighted to be hosting our first Speed Dating – Expanding your Collaborators session.

It is an event for writers, directors and producers (with at least one screen credit) to pitch yourselves and your ideas to potential future collaborators. Drama based – platform agnostic.

Date & Time: 6.15pm – 9:30pm, Wednesday, November 27 2019.

Venue: Cobbstar Studios: 2 Oatley Road, Paddington. Underneath the Chauvel Cinema. The old Metro Screen.

Entry fee: $10 if a member of a guild 

                  $25 if not a member

Speed-Dating Process:

• 10 x 9 minutes speed dating. You will form a group of three – one person from each discipline – and start chatting. Each participant has 3 minutes to chat to the other two. To discuss projects, visions, type of ideal collaborations.
• One minute break to find new group. No double-dipping.
• At the end of the speed dating segment, there will be 30 minutes of group drinking and chatting for further cementing of potential partnerships.

Prize: Each discipline to go into raffle draw to win a one-on-one 60 minute mentoring session with either a director, writer or producer.

Capacity: We are accepting a maximum of 15 people from each discipline (writers, directors and producers).
